To Begin -

As a new licensee you will need to obtain a New Jersey Real Estate Salesperson's License. Licensing requirements are regulated by the NJ Real Estate Commission. To be eligible for the license you must be at lease 18 years of age, have a high school education or equivalency, complete a 75 hour pre-licensure course at a licensed school and you must pass a written license examination. In addition, the Real Estate Commission "Must be satisfied as to the applicants’ honesty, trustworthiness, character and integrity."
